On Thursday, December 6, 2018, NAMI Keystone Pennsylvania hosted its second Green Light Gala for Mental Health Awareness at Nova Place on Pittsburgh’s North Side. The presenting sponsors of the Gala were UPMC Health Plan and Community Care Behavioral Health Organization.
The Gala is a biennial statewide event that shines a light on the need for better mental health awareness, treatment, and resources. It also celebrates the progress that has been made, the life-changing advancements that are on the horizon, and the brave individuals who are telling their stories to pave the way for so many others.
This fun-filled evening included heavy hors d’ oeuvres by Rania’s Catering and The Move Makers Band kept nearly 300 guests entertained all night long.
Renowned Pittsburgh artist Johno Prasack donated four prints that were raffled off. Three lucky winners claimed their prize. But, one winner is still out there. The person who holds the raffle ticket with the numbers 101457 will take home Johno’s Heart print, which was featured on the NBC hit show, Will & Grace. The winner can call the NAMI Keystone Pennsylvania office at 412-366-3788 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to claim their prize.
