Certified Recovery Specialist Training

The Allegheny County Department of Human Services is looking for individuals who are interested in becoming Certified Recovery Specialists. The county will be selecting up to 30 individuals to attend a Certified Recovery Specialist training series that will be held at the Allegheny County Department of Human Services during the months of February and March. Upon completion of the training series, these individuals will be given the opportunity to take the PA Certification Board Exam to become a Certified Recovery Specialist in April 2018, at no cost to them.

A pre-training application must be submitted to Monique Smith by Friday, January 12, 2018.
