World Bipolar Day | Movie Screening Apr 6

World Bipolar Day is celebrated on March 30th every year. The vision of WBD is to bring world awareness to bipolar disorder and eliminate the social stigma.

The International Society for Bipolar Disorders will be celebrating World Bipolar Day with a free-screening of the award-winning film, “No Letting Go,” from producer/writer and Pitt alumnae Randi Silverman. Based on a true story, “No Letting Go” follows the journey of one family’s struggle to understand and cope with their young son’s mental illness.

The film will be followed by a panel discussion that includes Randi Silverman, Dr. Boris Birmaher, and NAMI Southwestern Pennsylvania’s Associate Director, Debbie Ference.

WHERE: Room S100A, Starzl Biomedical Science Tower, University of Pittsburgh Oakland

Free admission. Seating is limited to the first 150 people.
