This is a 5K walk (approximately three miles) along the Great Allegheny Passage that begins and ends at Towne Center. Walkers may choose to walk shorter distances.
The street around Towne Center will be closed for the Walk. There is plenty of free parking in the adjacent lots.
When You Arrive
All team captains (and individuals who are not on a team) should report to the Registration Tent. Anyone who has not previously registered must also sign up at the Registration Tent.
Drop off your raffle stubs at the Registration Tent no later than 10:30am. Winners will be drawn onstage at 11am. You need not be present to win.
We will have hot coffee, tea and hot chocolate ready to greet you at the Walk! Enjoy complimentary refreshments, music, balloon art, face painting, caricature art, entertainment, Reiki and chair massages, team photos, prize drawings and more!
Our Honorary Chair Michelle Wright of WTAE-TV will emcee the Walk. Recording artist Stevee Wellons will sing the National Anthem.
Gather your team and report to the sidewalk in front of Victoria’s Secret to have your team photo taken. Look for the PHOTO sign! You can also ask the DJ onstage to announce your team.
Keep fundraising on the NAMIWalks website. Cash and checks can be turned in at Registration on Walk Day. Anyone raising $100 will receive a 2015 NAMIWalks T-shirt.
UNO Pizzeria at the Waterfront is offering 20% of proceeds on Sunday to NAMI. However, you must use a coupon. Print this coupon or visit the NAMI Info tent at the Walk.
Green Awareness Bracelets
Wear your green awareness bracelets to the Walk! If you don’t have one, visit the Value Behavioral Health vendor booth for a free bracelet, while supplies last.
