Green Light Gala Raises Critical Funds to Support Mental Health Services in Our Community

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Thursday, Nov. 13, 2025

PITTSBURGH, Pa.  – NAMI Keystone Pennsylvania is hosting its biennial Green Light Gala for Mental Health Awareness on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025, at one of Pittsburgh’s most iconic event spaces, the Wintergarden at PPG Place in downtown Pittsburgh. The Green Light Gala brings together community leaders, supporters, and advocates for an evening of inspiration and generosity to benefit peer and family mental health support, education, and advocacy.

“This event comes at a pivotal time,” said Christine Michaels, CEO of NAMI Keystone Pennsylvania. “The need for accessible mental health support has never been greater. The generosity of our guests will help to ensure that no one in our community has to face mental health challenges alone.”

The formal event serves as one of the organization’s largest fundraisers, with all proceeds directly benefiting its free peer and family mental health support groups, education programs and presentations, and advocacy initiatives that the organization offers throughout the year.

“We are deeply grateful for the outpouring of support from our sponsors, donors, and attendees,” Michaels added. “Their commitment allows us to continue offering hope and healing to those who need it most.”

The Green Light Gala is one of the only formal events in the state dedicated to mental health awareness. Guests will enjoy dinner stations, live music, and silent and chance auctions while learning more about the vital impact NAMI Keystone Pennsylvania has on mental health awareness in the community.

UPMC Health Plan and UPMC Community Care Behavioral Health Organization are the presenting sponsors of the Green Light Gala. For more information about NAMI Keystone Pennsylvania, its programs, or ways to support its mission, visit www.namikeystonepa.org
