The Senate Can Reject Cuts to Medicaid Funding

After the House passed its budget reconciliation bill, called the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (H.R. 1), which included major cuts to Medicaid, the Senate is working right now to write their own version and move it quickly ahead to a vote. As it stands, the House-passed bill includes devastating cuts to Medicaid that will remove coverage from hardworking Americans and make staying on Medicaid even harder for others.
