Pennsylvania Mental Health Consent Bulletin Issued

On June 29, 2018, a joint bulletin was issued by the Pennsylvania Departments of Human Services and Health. Bulletin number OMHSAS – 18-01 addresses who can provide consent to voluntary mental health treatment for minors who are between the ages of 14 – 17 years old. The bulletin includes Consent to Treatment FAQs regarding outpatient and inpatient treatment.
