This year, on Giving Tuesday, NAMI Keystone Pennsylvania participated in Give Big Pittsburgh, an online fundraising initiative for area nonprofits. The Pittsburgh Foundation and Pittsburgh Magazine hosted the online giving campaign that launched on Tuesday, Nov. 28.
In addition to receiving donations from the public during the 24-hour period, participating nonprofits were also eligible for various prizes. NAMI Keystone Pennsylvania was one of three organizations to win $1000 in the “Early Bird Gets the Worm” category. Prizes in that group went to the top three organizations receiving the most unique gifts between 12 a.m. – 2 a.m.
That extra boost brought NAMI Keystone Pennsylvania’s total raised so far to $2,110, surpassing our $1,000 goal.
And there’s still time to donate! The Give Pittsburgh Pittsburgh campaign lasts through Monday, December 31.
NAMI Keystone Pennsylvania would like to thank everyone who made a donation during Give Big Pittsburgh. Funds raised support our mission of providing recovery-focused support, education, and advocacy to children, adolescents, adults, and families affected by mental illness.
