Join us for NAMI Southwestern Pennsylvania’s 16th Annual Education Conference, “Call to Action: Creating a Movement to Change Lives.” This conference aims to challenge our region to implement not only promising early intervention programs for First Episode Psychosis (FEP) but, to create a dialogue that leads to appropriate and much needed changes to the treatments and supports in our region. Through these changes, emerging adults can receive the most effective care and improve recovery outcomes.
First Episode Psychosis programs offer real hope for recovery for the 100,000 adolescents and young adults who experience their first psychotic episode each year. Typically this occurs during a critical developmental stage of an individual’s life, ages 18-26. Please join us on Saturday, April 9 at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott and find out how these “game changing” programs can alter the trajectory of a young person’s life and how they can be implemented here in our region.
